The Food We Eat

The Food We Eat, Sculpture
The Food We Eat Award of Distinction
The cow, often overlooked, is a remarkable creature that, when cherished like a family member, can transform our perspective and enhance our treatment of these animals.
My artist expression communicates our relationship with nature and guides us towards reflection, memory and contemplation. So much of our daily interactions are with plants and animals, whether as food or as natural wildlife. I see animals and humans sharing the same ecosystem and experiences. We share the same natural instincts that drive our emotional lives. We both experience the depths of grief, the pangs of fear, and the drive to protect our own. They might seem primitive from our point of view, but the fundamental experiences remain undeniably the same.
